Overview
Benjamin Quarshie is a distinguished Teacher Educator and researcher with extensive expertise in various interdisciplinary fields, including pedagogy, educational technology, curriculum implementation, blended learning, teacher education and professionalism, tourism, arts, and culture. He serves as a reviewer for educational organisations and international journals in Ghana, South Africa, India, and the United States.
As an active member of several professional organisations and a former doctoral fellow at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, Benjamin is deeply committed to advancing quality education. He has dedicated himself to the continuous professional development of teachers in Ghana through training, advocacy, and the creation of instructional materials for school leadership, teachers, and learners in pre-tertiary schools.
Benjamin is a strong advocate for digital literacy, assisting teachers in employing innovative pedagogies to integrate ICT and digital tools into their teaching practices. His current role as the Ashanti Region Coordinator GSET is particularly focused on providing technical support for digital troubleshooters, teachers and school leaders in the Leaders in Teaching (LiT) within the Secondary Education Transformation programme in Ghana.
