Our Digital Literacy & ICT Integration program is a comprehensive initiative designed to equip teachers, school leaders, and education administrators with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to harness the full potential of technology for delivering high-quality, inclusive learning experiences.
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, the ability to effectively leverage information and communication technologies (ICTs) is no longer a luxury, but a fundamental requirement for 21st-century teaching and learning. However, we recognize that too many schools, particularly in underserved communities, lack the necessary infrastructure, training, and support to realize the transformative impact of technology in the classroom.
That’s why our Digital Literacy & ICT Integration program takes a multi-faceted approach to addressing this critical gap. Through a combination of intensive capacity-building workshops, personalized coaching, and collaborative peer-learning networks, we work hand-in-hand with educators to develop their digital literacy and integrate a wide range of educational technologies – from interactive whiteboards and learning management systems to coding platforms and virtual simulations.
But our commitment goes beyond just building individual skills. We also partner with school districts, ministries of education, and community stakeholders to strengthen the overall digital ecosystem, ensuring that the necessary infrastructure, policies, and support systems are in place to sustain and scale the integration of technology in teaching and learning.
By empowering educators to confidently navigate the digital landscape, we are paving the way for more engaging, personalized, and equitable education for all learners. Secondary Education Reform Programme
The Digital Literacy & ICT Integration is an intervention under the Secondary Education Reform Program of the Ministry of Education and its agencies to equip all teachers at the Senior High/Senior High Technical Schools (SH/SHTS) across the country with the digital skills to successfully integrate technology into their teaching.
