Overview
Gilbert Quainoo is a seasoned professional teacher with eighteen years of experience in imparting knowledge and assisting thousands of teachers and students. Currently, he teaches at Kwegyir Aggrey Basic School in Cape Coast, Ghana. He is a dedicated educator specializing in social studies and mathematics, with a recent focus on integrating digital ICT into teaching and learning.
Gilbert’s dedication to educational excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including the Overall Best Social Studies Teacher (Junior High School) in the Cape Coast Metropolis and ten-time Best Teacher at Kwegyir Aggrey Basic School. His commitment to professional development is evident through his participation in various workshops and seminars, where he has also trained over four thousand teachers across first and second cycle levels.
He holds a Bachelor of Education in Basic Education from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), and a Diploma in Basic Education from the University of Cape Coast (UCC). Since 2019, Gilbert has been an active member of the Ghana Society for Education Technology (GSET), significantly enhancing his ability to facilitate educational technology across institutions. He currently serves as the Central Regional Coordinator for GSET.
In addition to his professional commitments, Gilbert is a proud member of the Ghana National Association of Teachers and serves as the Jubilee Local Chairperson in Cape Coast. His hobbies include reading books and swimming. Gilbert thrives in positive environments and is driven by a strong belief in the power of positive thinking.
